A charming and spacious village house
situated within private terraced gardens,
perfectly located in the village of Val de
Gilly and within easy reach of the French
Riviera.
While preserving its rustic charm, Tartine
was extensively refurbished in 2002,
featuring fabulous landscaped gardens
covering over 11,500 sq. ft., and offering a
private and remote escape in some of the
most beautiful French countryside. The
house itself has been furnished to a high
European standard featuring an open plan
kitchen, with all modern appliances,
leading to a large living room with plenty
of comfortable seating surrounding an open
fireplace and stairs leading to the upstairs
bedrooms and mezzanine. French doors
lead out from the living room to a spacious
stone terrace, which is floodlit in the
evenings and is ideal for barbecues.
Spectacular views can be enjoyed over the
private heated swimming pool and the
landscaped gardens to the forests beyond.
Leading off of the living room there are
two bedrooms, one double and one twin , a
full bath with shower and a half bath.
Upstairs, you will find the air conditioned
master bedroom with en-suite bath and
dressing area / sitting room with views over
the gardens. There is also a mezzanine
balcony upstairs which can be used as a
quiet study area. An additional spacious
double bedroom with en-suite bath and
kitchenette is located in the pool house
which would bed ideal for a nanny or a
couple seeking privacy. The main house
also has its own parking area, with
additional ample parking on the road outside.
With the buzz and excitement and the sandy
beaches of St. Tropez less than 20 minutes
away, peaceful forest surroundings, local
shops, restaurants and sporting facilities
nearby, Tartine is an ideal hideaway for
anyone wanting to experience all the Cote
d’Azur has to offer.
