Set on a private estate just in front of the famous Beauvallon golf course is this
stunning 5 bedroom house. Sitting in one hectare of manicured grounds with a
magnificent 12x6 metre overflow pool in wooden decking and with panoramic
views across the bay to St.Tropez this is a real luxury holiday home. Adjacent to
the pool is the summer house with shower, toilet, fully fitted kitchen with
barbeque and a covered dining area. The house is set back from the pool in
gently sloping lawns and the terraces and balconies at the front of the house all
have views across the pool to the sea. There is a very relaxing, tranquil feel to
the whole property which may have something to do with the many Asian pieces
of furniture and art that can be found everywhere. The interiors are quite
exquisite. The owners have used a designer’s eye and flair and imagination to
create them.
The downstairs is bisected by a long hallway with polished wooden floors and a
sweeping staircase, both of which have some unique pieces of art displayed. To
one side you will find the guest bathroom and a small study with internet and fax.
The double size lounge has something of a colonial feel to it with comfortable
sofas, feature fireplace and doors leading to the covered terrace. The formal
dining room has doors leading to a beautiful covered outside dining terrace, an
excellent alternative on summer evening where you can dine and watch the
lights from the boats and St. Tropez sparkling in the distance. The very
contemporary kitchen/breakfast room is very spacious has a door leading to a
rear parking space ideal for dropping off the shopping.
All the bedrooms are on the first floor and have air-conditioning and mosquito
barriers at the windows. All bathrooms have Phillipe Starck fittings. The master
bedroom has a 4 poster draped in muslin, a private study, a dressing room,
balcony and en-suite bathroom with modern stand alone tub and walk in shower.
There is an enchanting childrens room with a seaside theme, the wardrobe being
a lighthouse. The third bedroom is a double with en-suite shower room, then
there is a lovely double bedroom with balcony and sea views which shares a
family bathroom with a suite of rooms comprising a double and a single.
Everything from the furniture to the 100% linen sheets is of the highest quality
and makes this one of the most desirable rental homes in the South of France.
