This lovely property is situated just 800 meters from the picturesque, historic town of Vaison la Romaine, with its fields of Roman ruins, a Romanesque cathedral and cloisters, and dominated by its medieval castle. It offers an ideal holiday base from which to explore the many cultural and natural attractions of this delightful area of Provence. The house sits in a beautiful position, surrounded by vineyards, and with magnificent views over the old town of Vaison la Romaine to Mount Ventoux.

The grounds are enclosed and access to the property is by electronic security gates. Within the garden, with cypresses, olive trees and palms, there is a 16 x 32 ft. swimming pool, and a pool house with a summer kitchen (fridge, sink and microwave) and a shower and bath. The sun terrace surrounding the pool is furnished with high quality wrought iron furniture. To the front of the house is a covered dining area with a built-in stone BBQ and wrought iron table and chairs.

The interior is furnished to a very high standard and newly equipped throughout. The living room, with a huge, original fireplace, is furnished with a mixture of antiques and country provencal furniture and opens to the front terrace with outdoor dining area. The ground floor bedrooms overlook the pool and terrace, while the first floor bedrooms have views of the old town and Mont Ventoux. The spacious kitchen has a large breakfast table and is newly equipped with Bosch appliances.
