The pretty and thriving village of Mouries is located in the heart of Les Alpilles. It is famous for being the center of the largest olive oil producing area of France; in fact, there are a number of working olive oil mills that can be visited close by. The immediate area also boasts, Les Servanes, one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in Provence, which has Les Alpilles as an inspiring backdrop.

Mas de St. Jacques is located in the heart of the village, on a quiet street and just a few steps from the local shops, restaurants and bars. Behind the high gates and wall that surround the property, the garden of around 5000 sq. ft. is of a sufficient size to include a 16 x 32 ft. step pool and space for outdoor living in warm weather. The property itself is a recently converted and very spacious mas, with very large rooms throughout, decorated using a clever mix of authentic Provencal materials, dark eastern wood and contemporary stylish furnishings with a lot of good taste.
