This wonderful villa offers a complete retreat with total piece and quiet, far from any crowds, or indeed, any property at all. The nearest village is Jouques, 7 kms. away, and the city of Aix-en-Provence is 32 kms. Surrounded by 625 acres of private land, access is via a 3 km. long road through woodlands and fields, or by helicopter (there is a helipad on the property). Situated on a hillside, the views are superb, over the surrounding countryside with the mountains in the background.

The house is surrounded by a well maintained lawned garden with olive trees, lavender and herbs and a large 20 x 49 ft. heated swimming pool (heating extra). Built of local stone with grey shutters, and recently restored throughout, the accommodation consists of a main house and an annex on the other side of a central courtyard. In total, it offers over 15,000 sq. ft of living space, with the light and spacious rooms opening to the terrace on one side, and the courtyard on the other.

The interiors are of an exceptionally high standard and are decorated in subtle shades of beige and grey throughout, with polished cement floors, white “distressed effect” ceiling beams, tadelakt bathrooms and cream furnishings. Glass doors open up right along the front of the very large living room to a furnished terrace overlooking the garden and pool.
