The charming town of Fontveille, situated approx. 10 kms., to the west of Maussane, is famous for its windmill, immortalized by Alphonse Daudet in his collection of short stories ‘Lettres de mon Moulin’. The very pretty property is situated just on the outskirts of the town center and a short walk from the local shops and restaurants. It is particularly well placed for visiting the many attractions of the area, including Arles, Les Baux, St. Remy and the Camargue.

The accommodation is all on one level and the interiors have been furnished with flair and taste by the interior designer owner. Stone tiled floors, original exposed beams and white painted walls serve as a backdrop to the antique doors, country pine antique furniture, wrought iron lamps and Provencal fabrics. The living / dining room has a large open fireplace, and is comfortably furnished with cream upholstered sofa and chairs. Large glass doors open to a terrace with a pergola, furnished for al fresco dining.

Beyond the terrace is a pretty mature garden with flower beds, trees and a 16 x 32 ft. swimming pool.
