Enclosed by a stone wall, Le Puit is a
charming Provencal village house which is
located on a quiet street in the village of
Cabrieres d'Avignon.
The entrance opens into the fully fitted,
country style kitchen with pale yellow
cabinets and a central work island. It is well
equipped and also has a dining table for six.
A couple of steps up from the kitchen is the
laundry room. The kitchen opens onto a
furnished terrace, ideal for dining al fresco.
Sliding glass doors lead from the kitchen to the
living room with a stone fireplace and
comfortable sofas. The master bedroom is on
the ground floor, off of the living room with
en-suite bath, dressing room and access to the
outside terrace. A stone staircase leads to the
first floor with a further double bedroom with
en-suite bath, and a twin and single bedroom
which share a bath. The twin bedroom has
access to a private terrace which overlooks the
pool and garden. A gravel path leads down to
the swimming pool, which is set slightly below
the house and has Roman steps at one end. It
is surrounded by terracing, furnished with sun
loungers, and beyond are lawned gardens
planted with rosemary, lavender, roses and
cypress trees.
