A beautiful stone Provençal house with a
secluded pool and garden at the top of the
fortified village of Goult. In prime location,
the house is full of character and has been
tastefully refurbished by the owner with
antique furniture and discerning paintings.
Goult is a little jewel of a village, historic
and interesting with a wonderful atmosphere
and is a short stroll down from Le Castel.
Within a short drive are the daily markets in
Gordes, Rousillon, and Menerbes, and the
coastal towns with their beaches are within
an hour's drive. At Le Castel, the main
house can be rented on its own or with the
guest house or studio or both. Ideal for a
group of friends or family reunion, with lots
of living space for everyone. In the main
house, charming indoor and outdoor living
space offers comfortable accommodation
for up to seven, and leads through to the
second part of the house known as the
Children's House which has its own
lounge area and breakfast room with a
double bedroom, a twin bedroom and bath.
The two separate annexes both have their
own living areas and kitchen and each sleeps
four people comfortably. Across a pathway
from the house and close to a fantastic
viewpoint at the top of the village is the
private walled pool area surrounded by
lavender, with a shady seating area, a
summer kitchen, a toilet and ping pong. A
truly wonderful place to relax.
