On the approach to La Gayane, one would be
forgiven for thinking that you had stepped
into a picture postcard of Provence. Flanked
by fields of lavender, which run seamlessly
into acres of carefully cultivated vines, the
recently renovated "mas" , with its pretty pale
blue shutters, blends in beautifully to the rural
setting. At the back of the house is a spacious
terrace, shaded by a bower of vines, and
looking out onto the swimming pool and the
adjacent lavender fields. French doors lead
back into a spacious, kitchen with marble
countertops, conveniently laid out to provide
a cool haven in the heat of the summer. All
five of the bedrooms are beautifully furnished
and are made complete by each having their
own high quality bathrooms
