The main house was built in 1840 on land formerly owned by the Duchy of Uzes, now the park surrounding the house, has a stone wall and is composed of gardens with lavender, rose beds, mature oak, cedar and pine trees. For the very active, there are two tennis clubs located within a 3 minute drive from the house with free membership included. A Caretaker couple live unobtrusively in a separate house to ensure the smooth running of the property.
