A beautifully restored Dordogne , with
heated swimming pool, located in unspoiled

Le Bouffadou, originally a working farm, is
located in three hectares of land in rural
countryside, near the small hamlet of Tage
and a short drive to Monpazier, one of
Dordogne's most historic and most beautiful
towns. Its owners have made Le Bouffadou
into a delightful home for guests, keeping the
character and rustic element of the open-
beamed farmhouse, while incorporating
every modern comfort. Cozy, open fireplaces
ensure a warm welcome in early and late
summer, while the thick stone walls keep the
house cool, even on the hottest day. Children
are welcomed, but the owner would point out
that the house contains china and antiques
and supervision is required. Clever use has
been made of the original out buildings to
create a charming guest annex with two
excellent bedroom suites, ideal for guests or
older children. The pretty gardens, with lawns,
fruit trees, shrubs and flowers, provide a
haven for wild flowers, birds and butterflies
in the summer, all well maintained by a
gardener. The owner's housekeeper will also
look after guests very well and do simple
cooking if required, please book well in
advance, for that special meal or occasion.
There are lovely walks in the surrounding
countryside and woods and delightful market
towns are within easy reach. Guests cannot
fail to enjoy this charming home.
