Just minutes from the beach you will find this quite astonishing
house. Reminiscent of the Hollywood Spanish style villas this 1920
property has retained many of its original features and is full of
beautiful art deco furniture and decorative pieces.
The villa is set in lovely gardens full of fruit trees, palms, flowering
shrubs and, in the height of summer, a stunning array of flowers. The
12 x 6 metre heated bevel edged pool is set away from the house,
with many sun terraces and a fully equipped summer kitchen with
teak dining table. The villa is reached by a flight of tiled steps taking
you to a wonderful colonial style veranda with palm, rattan chairs and
sofas, ideal for cocktails whilst admiring the view.
There is a very large living room with sofa, flat screen television with
satellite, video and DVD. The dining room is spacious with a feature
fireplace and large1920’s style table and chairs. Both rooms retain
the original floor tiles and are separated by the original ornate iron
work. There is also a study area with fax and high speed internet
connection. The large kitchen has retained some original features,
but has every modern appliance. The master bedroom is on the first
floor and has a super king size bed, fireplace, balcony, sea views
and an en-suite shower room.
There are two further double bedrooms both with four poster beds,
one with en suite shower room and the other with an en-suite with jet
shower. There is a twin bedroom with bathroom with tub and
overhead shower which it shares with the charming single bedroom
on the ground floor. With lots of space and very high ceilings this a
very elegant and stylish property, although also totally comfortable
and an ideal holiday retreat.
