Garde Freinet. The property is just a few
minutes' walk from the center of the village
with its many restaurants and shops.
La Bergerie is a beautiful, old, Provencal stone
property set in 6000 sq. meters of land and
boasts mature trees, woodland views, a walled
pool area, and several terraces for al fresco
dining, providing the perfect summer idyll.
The swimming pool is located below the house,
and can be gated when not in use, and also
benefits from a new heating system. The thick
stone walls of the house ensure that even in the
height of the summer, the interior of the house
remains pleasantly cool. Inside the property,
the rooms of the spacious ground floor flow
from the kitchen / breakfast room to the dining
room and into the living room. The four
bedrooms and three baths are located on the
first floor and have a more cozy feel.
The village of La Garde Freinet lies in the
forested hills of the Massive des Maures. It
provides a tranquil getaway from the bustle and
glamour of the coast, yet the Bay of St.
Tropez is a mere 20 kms. Away.
Note: The caretaker of the property lives
unobtrusively in a separate apartment at the
rear of the property.
